Folkestone Techno Social is a new low-key monthly night dedicated to moody electronic music. Resident PSQ will be joined each month by a guest DJ and a live electronic act, in the relaxed surroundings of Bar Folklore, for cocktails and futuristic synthesised sounds! FTS will show case East Kent's many talented techno producers and DJs, and provide an open and inclusive social space for anyone interested in underground electronics. Kicking things off on 15 November is local electro DJ Teutonic Kaboom (@teutonic.kaboom) from City Wall Radio (@citywallradio). They will be joined by Folkestone-based creator of dirty distorted lo-fi electronic soundscapes P. G. Warren (@pgwarren), who has released on labels such as Castles in Space and The Dark Outside. Dancing is optional but not discouraged. In-depth discussion of synths, modules and obscure releases very much permitted!
